Maquillaje:
Monica (Iyari Limon "Buffy the Vampire Slayer") is a clown with a terrible sense of humor. She yearns for a better life, but has always set aside her dreams for others. Her older brother, Omar (Jaime Aymerich "Un Secreto de Esperanza"), landed in jail for theft. Now a freeman, Omar returns to his girlfriend and daughter for a second chance. Her best friend, Lily (Brenda Romero "Desert Blood"), is a prostitute and her lifestyle leads her into trials and tribulations. Her boyfriend, well actually she doesn't have a boyfriend but she would like it to be Mario (Manuel Garcia Rulfo "Valle de Lagrimas"). Mario is a used car salesman and with his good looks cheats women for their money. This ensemble of characters has found themselves in the crossroads of life where they need to choose a new path.

Maquillaje, won Best Director in the CineSin Film Festival for Marcial Rios Salcido. This film was produced by indie filmmakers Paula Moreno, J.E. Ruiz, and Haidee Gonzalez; and features a music soundtrack by indie favorite, Audio Karate, recording for the first time in Spanish. The DVD is in Spanish with English subtitles.

Pequeño Gigante Films prides itself for having a great understanding of what it’s like to be Latino in the U.S. The goal is to produce a diverse range of quality films, covering a wide spectrum of experiences and characters from across the Latin world and bringing them to the mainstream media.

Currently the company is in post-production on its second film, Orange Grove, written and directed by J.E. Ruiz.

Pequeño Gigante Films is an independent production film company founded in
March of 2006. The companie's main goal is to produce a diverse range

In the brief span of its existence the company has produced the feature
film, Maquillaje, wining an award for Marcial Rios Salcido for Best Director
in 2007 in the CineSin Film Festival. Currently the company is in
pre-production for its second film, Orange Grove, written and directed by
