Govinda's Of Tucson Hosts Free 2009 Krishna Fest

Govinda’s Natural Foods hosts a free Krishna Fest the evening of August 13th, complete with colorful, exotic entertainment and free midnight feasting for the whole family.

July 16, 2009 - PRLog -- The evening of Thursday, August 13th offers a free “don’t miss it” occasion at Govinda’s in Tucson. From 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, musicians and performers will thrill audiences with sitar music and exotic Indian dance, followed at midnight by a free feast of Govinda’s gourmet vegetarian food and birthday cake.

Sitar virtuoso, Pete Fine will amaze listeners with an exciting sitar recital, along with performances from the Urvashi Dance Troupe and the Odissi Dance Company, and a spellbinding production by the Elemental Artistry Fire Dancers. There will be a kids’ activity area with face painting, a jump castle and arts and crafts.
