The league’s first major event will be the first ever mixed martial arts (MMA) title fights to be staged in the Middle East as a central attraction of the Dubai Shopping Festival in 2010, which takes place in the month of February. Fighters from around the world will compete in a qualifying heat to earn their place on to the Reality Show and a opportunity title bout at the Main Event in Dubai. The Qualifier is set and is titled “The Road To Dubai” at Eastern Michigan University Convocation Center, Detroit, Michigan, USA on August 15th, will result in the winners flying to Dubai to take part in a new concept sports reality TV show, “The Xtreme Fighter”, in September/October. The August 15th Qualifier will consist amazing international MMA fighters , live musical performances, sports commentary desk, and pyrotechnics.
