Open Photo Exhibit Offers $1000 in Prizes

July 13, 2009 - PRLog -- The Red Bluff Art Gallery is now accepting entries to the International Juried Photo Exhibition, “Images From A Glass Eye, 2009”. The exhibit offers $1000 in prize money and is sponsored by the Tehama County Photo Club (Red Bluff, California).

Any person can submit entries to this “open” exhibition. Entries can be on any subject and can be “untouched” or “photoshopped.” as long as the photographer is the person doing the manipulation.

The Judge for the exhibition is California-based photographer and teacher Jennifer Wu. Ms. Wu teaches photography at Betterphoto.com, California State University at Sacramento, the Lepp Institute and other national and international venues. Her work has appeared in countless publications and is exhibited at several fine art galleries.

The Exhibition will open on September 15th with an Artist’s Reception on October 2nd at the Red Bluff Art Gallery, 601 Walnut street, Red Bluff, California.

The Red Bluff Art Gallery has a reputation for showing International art works. During the past year they have successfully exhibited and sold work by artists in a variety of countries, including Belarus, Eritrea, Russia, UK, Sweden, and Canada. The Gallery is the only International art venue in Northern California.

Prizes will be awarded for  1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place in this open exhibition.
