July 10, 2009 - PRLog -- Dallas, Texas — PMForum, Inc announced today that Ms. Ann R. Miller, PMP has been named an International Correspondent for PMForum and PM World Today in Dallas.  PMForum’s global network of international correspondents delivers project management-related news and information from around the world and provides local representation.  PMForum operates www.pmforum.org, the world’s oldest website devoted to professional project management, and produces the popular monthly online global project management e-Journal PM World Today.

Ann R. Miller is an expert in project execution, program governance, project portfolio management, PMO implementation, and PM-related professional development.  She has extensive experience with aligning project portfolios with business strategy, and with developing a “culture of discipline” in organizations by establishing and evolving project governance for more effective execution.  She has provided portfolio, program and project services, PMO implementation and PM education services, including PMP® certification preparation, to a wide range of government and industrial organizations over the years.  

Ann was previously a vice president of the Project Leadership Group (2000-2006), a leading PM training organization in the USA, and a partner with The Angel Group (1983-1999), a technology project consultancy that was acquired by IPS in 2000.  Previous positions included regional manager with ABT Corporation;  manager with Arthur Young; consultant with Price Waterhouse; and senior software engineer for DEC.  Ann has a Bachelors degree in Philosophy from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and is bilingual in English and Spanish.  Ann has been active in the PM profession for many years, has made numerous presentations at professional events and conferences, is a member of the Austin and Dallas PMI chapters, and is past president of the Dallas Chapter of PMI (1997-98).  She is also active in the Dallas arts community.
