Call for Papers: The Future of Pigments 2009

IntertechPira is pleased to announce that its thirteenth conference dedicated to the pigments industry, The Future of Pigments 2009, is scheduled for November 3-5 in Hamburg, Germany. The meeting will be held at the Hamburg Marriott Hotel, located in the heart of Hamburg’s shopping, art galleries and restaurant district.

The Future of Pigments 2009 will cover issues crucial to the industry, such as recent innovations, market trends for organic and inorganic pigments, and environmental regulations. The conference will be devoted to helping developers, producers and users of pigments assess market dynamics, recent innovations, and new manufacturing and deployment cost-reduction methods.  Over 100 researchers and executives are expected to attend – including pigment manufacturers and end users from the fields of automotive coatings, industrial coatings, masterbatches, engineering plastics, non-impact printing, and inks.  

“The Future of Pigments 2009 is a natural extension and expansion of IntertechPira’s High Performance and Functional Pigments events,” said Conference Director, Christine Groff. “We are excited to return to Europe after a long hiatus.  There have been numerous developments within the pigments industry since we were last in Europe (2000) both from a technological and regulatory point of view. We look forward to a lively and informative discussion with industry leaders.”

The conference will feature 20 speakers on November 4 and 5. In addition, a pre-conference seminar will be held on November 3.  Attendees will have extensive opportunities to make business contacts at various networking functions.  There will also be an exhibit area for display of new products and services.
