July 8, 2009 - PRLog -- Manorville, New York — When the Long Island Game Farm opened in 1970, things were very different then. A gallon of gas cost 36 cents, milk was $1.15 per gallon and the average cost of a new home was $26,600.

For the past 40 years, the Long Island Game Farm has brought plenty of memories to visiting families. Now you can share your favorite stories about the Game Farm with a chance to win a family season pass. Entrants can write about their favorite animals at the Game Farm, watching the shows or taking a ride — anything.

“We encourage our visitors to share their favorite stories about what it was like to be at the Long Island Game Farm,” said Melinda Novak, Co-Owner and Vice President. “With the thousands of visitors who come through the gates each year, we believe each story that is submitted will be as unique as the next one.”

The deadline is August 31. Send your favorite story to: Long Island Game Farm, P.O. Box 97, Manorville, NY 11949. For more information about the Long Island Game Farm, call (631) 878-6644, or visit www.longislandgamefarm.com.
