Breaking News on the International Rugby Board's World Rankings Sham

Support the world's developing rugby nations and give them the credit they deserve

July 8, 2009 - PRLog -- The IRB needs to open its eyes and give the Philippines rugby union team what it deserves, a place on its World Rankings. Currently the IRB rankings lists 95 full member countries, including Guam, ranked 81. In their last three encounters over the last three years, the Philippines Volcanoes have beaten Guam, including last weekends Asian Championships Division 3 Final, winning promotion to Division 2 next year.

The Philippines, Iran and Indonesia, who also competed in the tournament, may not be able to compete with the All Blacks yet, but give them the credit they deserve and rank them along side their fellow competitors. The IRB must give credit where credit is due for the world's smaller rugby nations if it wants them to thrive.

Show your support for the worlds developing rugby nations by contacting the Asian Rugby Football Union and voicing your opinion:

Representative on the IRB Council Noboru Mashimo (JRFU)
