A Terror of a Town of Katy, Texas

We are unleashing news and promoting 60,000 square feet of a haunted house attraction at Katy Mills Mall. It's going to be HUGE!

July 7, 2009 - PRLog -- Ladies and Gentlemen! Step right up and take a look at the largest, most terrifying horror show on Earth!

This September, grab your friends (and a good pair of running shoes) and come to Texas Terror.  Taking over the former location of Steve & Barry's at Katy Mills Mall in Katy, TX, this 60,000 square foot haunted house will be the terror of the town.  Each of our themed rooms will transport you to a world more gruesome and terrifying than the one before it.  A demonic circus, an eerie forest, and a hellish butcher are just a few of the many scares awaiting you.

So what, you may say.  It's just another haunted house.  What's the big deal?  Ah!  But Texas Terror is so much more than a simple scare.  Before you even enter the attraction, our personal golf cart service will pick you up from the parking lot and escort you to the entrance.  Worried about waiting in a long line?  We have VIP passes (available for $35) to jump ahead of the crowd.  However, if you purchase one of the general admission tickets ($25), you won't just be waiting in line.  Each night, we will have a different side show happening for you and your friends to participate in before entering the main event.  From Free T-Shirt Thursdays, Terror Idol Fridays (Karaoke Contest), Monster Smash Saturdays (Costume Contest), to Dance Thrilling Sundays (Dance Contest), we have something to wet anyone's appetite.  Also, on every Saturday in October, we will have special events for you to act out your favorite scene, compete in a ghoulish obstacle course, test your horror trivia knowledge, or play some fun carnival games (I promise they're not rigged).  Best of all?  Each event will leave the winners with a free T-Shirt or free prizes from one of our many sponsors.

Our hollywood-styled sets, 100 trained actors, and professional makeup artists will be sure to leave you breathless.  If you do happen to find your heart pounding with anticipation (or paralyzing fear), you won't break out into a sweat as the entire place is air-conditioned.  We also have luxury bathrooms, and terrifying T-Shirts, energy drinks and water available for purchase.

We have many different ways for the victims....I mean guests, to find out about this attraction.  From passing out special Texas Terror energy drinks out of a hearse around town to hearing about the attraction on 5 major radio stations, we will bring in 80,000 minimum expected patrons (we can accommodate up to 200,000).

For all the little children out there, we will have a Candy Land themed area during the day where kids under 10 can meet their favorite cartoon characters and play games.

We truly love the city of Katy and will be donating 5% of our revenue to Angel Park and the Katy Independence Day Fireworks.  See?  We're not completely heartless; we're just a little dead.

Texas Terror is open to the living on September 24, 2009 at dusk and will run until Halloween.  If you have any questions, please visit us at www.texasterror.com or become our friend on MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/484038622) or Facebook (Robert Waine Gray) to receive up-to-date Texas Terror information.

I hope to see you soon,

The Puppeteer
