Free Living Longer Forum Workshop July 9 & 14, 2009 - San Mateo, CA - Peninsula Regent

July 2, 2009 - PRLog -- The Living Longer Forum Series announces a free and open to the public, two-day workshop on July 9th and 14th, 2009 at the Peninsula Regent  at One Baldwin Avenue, San Mateo, CA from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM each date. This is a current workshop with content consistently providing insights and information critical to the baby boomer and older generations including real estate, estate planning, trends and direction, new options and opportunities for seniors and Peninsula insights.  

These are rapidly changing times, shifting trends, new government policies and volatile financial markets and call for new ways of planning and working toward comfortable, secure later years of our lives. The July workshop provides a forum discussing new and options and opportunities to counter some of the less attractive scenarios from the recession and giving information regarding our longer term retirement and lifestyle plans.

Living Longer Forum Series provides a broad spectrum of educational and insightful information for baby boomers and all of our graying population, their family members, advisers and caregivers with a wealth of knowledge to help navigate the issues and opportunities that face us as we age.

This two-hour program includes lunch and provides a detailed understanding of the status of the Peninsula real estate market and what the trends suggest in the near term.  Learn about life style options that deliver convenient, secure and enjoyable living, understand the pros and cons of downsizing ones living space.  Hear how 2009 government approved reverse mortgages for purchasing property can be a new financial option.  Look at estate planning in complex times and see how adding land ownership can help balanced financial plans.
