The Dallas/Fort Worth American Marketing Association is recognized for educating, supporting, and enhancing the image of marketing professionals.  But we are also dedicated to supporting our local community at large.

This month, we will be accepting donations of canned goods, toys, and basic necessities to help the Salvation Army replenish its depleted resources.

For 2009 The Salvation Army projects homeless shelters stays to increase (9% men, +22% women), and funding for Emergency Financial Assistance to double.

The Salvation Army is noted for its charitable commitment to the community (based on research and rankings of Charity Navigator). In these challenging times the Salvation Army has stepped up its efforts in providing financial and housing assistance as well as meals and Heat Relief for families in crisis.

Please note: The D/FW AMA does not support the Salvation Army with chapter funds and our members are under no obligation to provide donations.  This is a purely voluntary effort to help a local charity support those in need.
