Photographer Yannis Larios unveils ‘Paros Island, beyond crowded eyes’ summer Greece photos

July 1, 2009 - PRLog -- Paros, Greece is a highly developed island in the middle of the Aegean Sea. It is a beautiful summer destination, famous for its fabulous beaches, tavernas and numerous night-clubs which attract thousands of tourists, every year. Travelling from the capital Athens to Paros is a matter of just a couple of hours. Paros offers everything that any tourist wishes to find!

However, photographer Yannis Larios artfully demonstrates through his photos that despite the high-numbers of tourists, there exists a “hidden” Paros, very different and strikingly beautiful, lying "beyond crowded eyes"...

Larios has been passionate talking about his Paros photos project. “I was listening to people saying the same things about Paros… Nice beaches, nice touristic attractions, nice clubs and bars. But somehow I sensed that there must be something else that conveys the true spirit of the island. There must be a ‘Paros beyond crowded eyes’, so precious, so well-hidden but so obvious! I set out to explore and present this beautiful side through my photography.”
