Who Said Lovers Can't Fly

Sun River, Montana – Three-time world champion bullrider Tyler "Tornado" Talon is bored with the fame and fortune and all the buckle bunnies a man could ask for. The seventh son of a seventh son whose father was lost in an F-5 tornado the very minute of his birth, Tyler has been endowed by the Cosmos with one unique quality above all others on Earth. He can fly, like an eagle--well, make that a Frisbee. His siblings call him the Tasmanian Puker because without Dramamine, Tyler is a puking tornado every time his feet leave terra firma. Flying is a family secret spanning generations.

All that whining Tyler has done lately about the blessings of his life comes to an abrupt end when he rescues a naked young woman from a Colorado reservoir only to discover that she, too, can fly, sans any need to spin. Lydia is beautiful, funny, smart and on the run, but one quick marriage in Vegas and the rescue of a seven-year-old damsel in distress later, and Tyler and Lydia board a plane back to Denver with a loose cargo door that gives way in-flight. Tyler, with the aid of his new wife, then saves a young mother and her son from falling to their deaths in the Utah desert.

Six-year-old Travis is the latest rescue in Tyler's blossoming superhero career. After the boy's mother tries to extort money from Tyler and Lydia to keep their flying a secret, they discover how badly the little boy has been abused. Tyler and Lydia decide to make him a part of the Talon clan forever.

But the Cosmos has other, greater plans for Tyler and Lydia and little Travis. When one door is slammed shut, another opens to a destiny never imagined in a story where the support of family is paramount throughout.
