NACON Consulting LLC, Joint Venture Wins GSA Alliant SB Contract

Annapolis, MD – 6/29/2009 – NACON Consulting, LLC, has been informed by the U.S. General Services Administration that its joint venture, SBD Alliant, LLC was awarded one of the Alliant Small Business Information Technology contracts.

June 29, 2009 - PRLog -- SBD Alliant, LLC is a joint venture created under the GSA’s Alliant Small Business Government-wide Acquisition Contract (Alliant SB GWAC). It consists of 15 select small business members with a combined workforce of over 1000 information technology professionals. Headquartered in Vienna, Va., the enterprise has 22 offices located across the U.S. with a physical presence in nine states and the District of Columbia. The joint venture embodies all socio-economic classes including 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran Business, Women-owned, and Hubzone, Small Business.

NACON President, John Sciandra expressed his enthusiasm for the award saying “We anticipate this to be our contract vehicle of choice. I am confident that the efforts of the SBD Alliant partnership will allow us to expand our service offerings by leveraging the combined capabilities of the members in ways that will significantly benefit our customer base. We are an extremely consumer oriented organization and all of the partners have the same customer support ethic. Because the Alliant RFP preferred joint ventures of small businesses, the GSA has demonstrated that they are not only keeping up with the times, but that they have created a concept about small businesses that is very relevant to the new world of IT”.

SBD Alliant will enable the GSA to provide federal agencies with a centralized source to obtain a broad range of integrated information technology solutions worldwide. In addition, the program has a combined client base spanning over 45 Federal agencies and over two dozen marketing professionals and consultants with recognized industry relationships to promote the vehicle.  Furthermore, the enterprise will supply an efficient platform for acquiring a broad range of complex and standard technical support and management services while increasing contract opportunities for small businesses, as well as aiding Federal agencies to accomplish their small business procurement requirements.
