The Tybrisa Pier and Pavilion was built in 1891.  It’s open dance floor and opportunities for fishing and people watching made it a favorite for visitors since its erection and a legendary “Big Band” tour spot for close to five decades.  A fire destroyed the original pier in 1967.  The Tybrisa Pavilion II was dedicated almost thirty years later in August of 1996.
