June 25, 2009 - PRLog -- British Author and binary mind theorist Anthony Peake is featured in the latest edition of the Fortean Times Paranormal Handbook.  A passage in the text cites Peake as taking humanity further in the understanding of Near Death Experience phenomena and the existence of consciousness which is independent of the body and empirical physicality.   Peake has called his theory "Cheating the Ferryman"  in reference to the myth of antiquity,  about Charon the ferryman whose boat takes us to the realm of death.  He is author of 2 globally acclaimed books on this subject.  His binary mind thesis has discovered an empirical "eidolon" self and a transcendent "daemon"  self  -  Peake uses the language of ancient Greece with these terms  -   which the structures of the human brain allow to "replay"  life via the consciousness, allowing us to relive and evolve our lives within our consciousness.  He has drawn from the Implicate Order thesis of quantum theorist David Bohm to explain the process.

This August 3,  Peake will be appearing in New York City to deliver a lecture at the Roosevelt Hotel,  Madison Avenue @ East 45th St,  in the Broadway Suite,  at 6 p.m.  There will be a reception for the author,  with free bar and buffet for attendees.  Press and public invited;  Admission to both events is free.  Hosted by Gnosis Arts Multimedia Communications,  LLC.
