Professional Wrestling Database Passes Milestone

June 23, 2009 - PRLog -- Many match results are added to the online resource each day.  Named the Internet Wrestling Database, the website enables its surfers to view over 5000 pro wrestling cards over the 30,000 match results are contained.

Right from its beginnings in August 2008, the Internet Wrestling Database has published the results of several rival pro wrestling promotions from numerous continents.  Visitors can see results from the WWE, TNA, Ring of Honor, CZW, IWA Mid-South and other American promotions; together with the results of overseas promotions such as the FWA and NJPW.

A distinctive attribute of the site is the ability to look directly at a particular wrestler’s results.  Visitors can then see all of the matches in that wrestler’s career that are entered into the database.  It is therefore possible to view specific career histories of pro wrestlers such as Jeff Hardy, Harley Race, Mick Foley, Diamond Dallas Page, Konnan or The Great Muta.

The 30,000th match result was added during one of the website’s ongoing projects: to add the full results of all pro wrestling cards held at the famous Madison Square Garden venue.  The site administration team are looking forward to being able to celebrate their 40,000th match result soon as the database continues to develop.
