David Lennon Appointed CEO of Clondalkin Group’s Specialist Packaging Division

June 23, 2009 - PRLog -- Clondalkin Group is pleased to announce that David Lennon has joined Clondalkin Group as Chief Executive Officer of the Group’s Specialist Packaging Division.

David joins Clondalkin from Chesapeake Corporation where, from 1999 to 2008, he held various senior management positions, most recently as Managing Director, Global Market Development and, prior to that, as Regional Managing Director, Europe. Prior to joining Chesapeake he was Managing Director of Berry Print Group, from 1994 to 1999. David’s commencement qualification is in marketing and, prior to entering the packaging industry in 1994, he was employed in business development consultancy and marketing management positions.  

Commenting on the appointment, Norbert McDermott, the Chief Executive Officer of Clondalkin Group said: “We welcome David to the Clondalkin Group senior management team. From his original marketing specialisation, David has now accumulated over 15 years successful and wide-ranging experience in senior management roles throughout the packaging industry. He is vastly experienced in global packaging markets, both in developed and in emerging economies.

David is uniquely well equipped to lead the progressive development of our Specialist Packaging businesses throughout Europe.”
