   In 2001 two premiere companies Wakefield Thermal Solutions, a leader in thermal management, and National Northeast, a precision aluminum extruder and fabrication joined forces to create a one-stop shop for thermal, extrusion, and fabrication needs.  

In 2008, Wakefield Thermal Solutions expanded to create an even stronger brand portfolio.  Wakefield has acquired two additional organizations to enhance and most importantly compliment its already existing manufacturing capabilities.  By adding Engineered Sintering and Plastics, a powered metal, injection molding, and universal joint manufacturer, as well as Simon Industries, a leader in the embedded market, we have yet again created a stronger product diversification. This will ultimately create convenience for the customer that no others in the industry have come close to.
