| ![]() Guitarists Take Lead on Mobile Phones!Guitar freaks and music lovers can now watch and hear on their mobile phones some of the finest musicians in the world play live, following the launch of the first mobile channel dedicated to guitarists.
By: Ian Mullins Guitarist TV has teamed up with mobile TV streaming experts Yamgo to bring live concerts and scheduled programmes from guitar heroes right to fans’ mobiles, anywhere in the world. Superstars of the guitar and the most technically accomplished players all feature on the new channel, including outstanding musicians like Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Dennis Stratton, Guthrie Govan and many more. Guitarist TV was started by Mike De Jager and launched by Joe Satriani. With commercial operations being run by David Wray, the channel has, until now, been only available on IPTV networks and as an Internet TV channel. This deal with Yamgo now brings it to mobile phones. From today it is being broadcast simultaneously on mobile phone networks worldwide, IPTV and Internet.
