Redundancy Survival Cd Brings New Hope
Leading clinical hypnotherapist develops self-help CD to restore confidence to those who feel rejected by the world of work.
The Laid Off, Move On CD contains self-help therapy sessions specifically devised to enable redundancy victims to withstand the intense feelings of panic and hopelessness that strike the moment they realise they have become an unemployment statistic.
“For many the redundancy notice is the start of a highly emotional roller-coaster that often begins with a powerful sense of rejection that can develop into loss of confidence and feelings of worthlessness or low self-esteem,”
“Most people understand the financial impact of redundancy, the sudden loss of a career and a salary but in my experience it is the emotional impact of redundancy that can have the most devastating effect on individuals. The shock can lead to the collapse of your inner resources robbing you of the energies needed to cope and move on.
“Anger, blame, guilt, weeping, panic and utter despair are just some of the emotions associated with redundancy. All these have to be dealt with before the individual can move on.
“In the most serious cases redundancy can lead to long term depression and physical illness. And there have been extreme and tragic examples of redundancy victims taking their own lives.”
Michael began working on the Laid Off, Move On project early in 2008 after being asked to help several patients who had been battling to come to terms with their own sudden redundancies.
“This project was not a knee-jerk response to the recession,” added Michael. “When I started working on it we hadn’t even heard the term Credit Crunch. However, Laid Off, Move On is sparking some significant interest from visitors to my website.
“I believe this course can really help people to come to terms with redundancy and equip them with the right attitude to move onto a new beginning and possibly a new career.”
Laid Off, Move On is the latest CD based therapy course produced by Michael’s company, Health Audio, which was set up to offer the benefits of clinical hypnotherapy to those who could not or did not want to attend formal sessions.
“I prefer to call them self-help therapy courses,” added Michael. “And as we export them to more than 40 countries I believe they are offering real help to people.
