Social Commerce Rising - Igniting The Brilliance of Humanity

June 7, 2009 - PRLog -- Calgary, Canada  – A Calgary group inspired by the social commerce organization Humanity Unites Brilliance (HUB) set out to inspire local residents for the second time this year.  The event, Igniting Your Brilliance was well attended and generous attendees even helped out a local mom and her 3 kids who have had some very difficult times.  

The theme was one of transformation and as MC Dwayne Klassen pointed out the world is breaking down and the time for excuses are over.

Karen Klassen founder of Imagine Seminars & Consulting Inc and an International Life & Relationship Coach, Certified Corporate Trainer and Inspirational Speaker lead of the day with an amazing piece called 7 Steps on How to Attain Emotional Freedom.  Other amazing speakers included Katharina Knodel, a personal trainer and speaker who teaches wellness through her company, Personal Evolution and Chad Lefevre whose new social organization, Against The Grain, garnered tremendous interest.

Representing Humanity Unites Brilliance, Allan Marston spoke about the transformation that humanity is going through and likened it to the metamorphosis of a caterpillar to a butterfly.  Quoting the human potential guru Barbara Marx Hubbard, Mr Marston said, “Now in the 21st century, millions of people are awakening in every field, culture, and ethnic group.  The Imaginal disks are linking up, are becoming Imaginal cells, and are beginning to proliferate throughout the social body.  

Each person who says “I know I can be more,” “I can do more,” The world does not have to be this way” is an Imaginal cell in the emerging culture of humanity.  The social immune system is beginning to surrender as the new consciousness arises everywhere.”

Mr Marston who coined the title he uses for himself, Philanthro-Capitalist, also spoke about what that term means.  “A Philanthro-Capitalist is a business person who is engaged in giving while creating a profit which in turn allows for more giving or philanthropy while creating even more profit.  With this model there is ascending growth so that more and more people are impacted.”

HUB is making a difference from Alberta already.  Local citizens are impacting thousands in Africa and in their own cities every single month.  Yet there is much work to be done as Allan Marston is quick to point out.  “35,000 children under the age of 5 years old die every single day from starvation and water-borne diseases.  These are two things that we can do something about. We don’t need to spend years on R & D to find a cure like for Cancer or AIDS.  This generation must act now!”

Humanity Unites Brilliance will hold another Igniting Your Brilliance in Lethbridge, Alberta on Saturday 13th June 2009 from 10 AM to 4.30 PM at the Loyal Order of Moose Hall 1405 – 5th Ave North, Lethbridge. Law of attraction expert Elisabeth Fayt will be the keynote speaker.

“The kind of people that are attracted to these seminars that we put on are people who have been asking ‘Why is the world in the chaos that it is and what can I do about it,” said Allan Marston who will also speak at the event in Lethbridge.
