June 6, 2009 - PRLog -- A Link Building strategy should start with Analyzing the keywords/phrases in your web site that you want to achieve high rankings for.  Select some keywords/phrases that you can include in the text of the back links. This is very important. You should have proper keyword rich text in the inbound links that you will acquire through the Link Building Campaigns. You should then make a list of the competing sites for the keyword/phrases. The next step is more difficult but essential. You must try and analyze the back links for the competing sites. The number of inbound links, thematic back links, etc, will provide you with an idea of what you are up against and where your competitors inbound links are coming from.

If your keywords/phrases are very competitive and the top 10 sites have a very high Page Rank, each one of the sites will have hundreds, if not thousands of back links. You should analyze the sites that these back links originate from and evaluate their worth. Once you have analyzed the inbound links of the top 10 ranking competitors, you can get down to the task of defining and planning your Link Building strategy. After the Analysis, you must now decide on your Link Building strategy. Do you want to acquire inbound links from any web site and source and through any means like One-way, Two-Way, Three-way Link Exchange, link buying, link farms, etc. Or try and acquire links from the same sources as your competitors.

Or do you want to be selective with your Link Building strategy and acquire only One-way theme based inbound links from content rich web sites related to the theme and content of your web site or even from content related to your web site. This decision is crucial for your Link Building strategy, as it will define the base and road map for your Link Building Campaigns. Remember that Search Engines give more weightage to theme based One-way inbound links and do not consider links from unrelated sites or Link Exchanges, as relevant and important as theme based One-way inbound links. Therefore, it makes sense to spend time, efforts, and money on acquiring fewer, high quality, theme based One-way inbound links. Once you have defined your Link Building strategy  to acquire One-way theme based inbound links, you must also decide a time line, budget and start your Link Building Campaigns.

But how and from where can you get theme based One-way inbound links? No web site owner will provide you with a back link without a reciprocal back link. The best option to acquire theme based One-way inbound links for your Link Building Campaigns, is through writing keyword rich Articles, or get it ghost written, on the theme and content of your web site and submit them to Article Directories. Some Article Directories allow up to 2 links in the Article body and up to 2 links in the Resource box , while others allow up to 2 links in the Resource box only. Just think about it, one theme based, keyword rich Article submitted to 100 Directories every week, could get you up to 200 theme based One-way inbound links every week – that’s 800-1000 theme based One-way inbound links every month!!.
