More precisely, it should be viewed as a factory for creating Web data extractors, or called as HTML wrappers . A new Web data extractor for a target site is created in minutes without coding a single line.

MetaSeeker is ease of use. A GUI is provided to users to define Web data extraction rules and manage the extraction process.

MetaSeeker is a client-side tool. The users can deploy a bulk of extractors working in parallel. At the same time, scraping activities are hard to be blocked by the target sites.
