-- Barnegat Township and Barnegat Chamber of Commerce announces plans for a downtown Jersey Fresh Market every Thursday 12 to 5 pm in the municipal lot next to Gazebo Park on Route 9. The market will debut June 25 and will run through September, with an option to continue throughout the fall.
Vendors will include Krowicki’s Farm Market and Greenhouse of New Egypt and supplying fresh vegetables, fruits, flowers and herbs. High Mountain Foods of Landing will be offering frozen gourmet pastas, meats, fresh cheese, soups and breads. A vendor from New Hope, PA Italian Treasures will be bringing Italian baked goods and other specialties.
“Downtown Barnegat is a wonderful place to gather, stroll and to shop,” say Destination Marketing Director, Lori Pepenella. “This market will be a highlight for many during the summer and a great way to introduce the charm of this historically rich town.” Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce serves as the area’s Destination Marketing Organization, promoting the entire region to visitors and residents throughout the year.
