Reint Reinders Joins Douglas Wilson Companies As Hospitality Division Manager

May 28, 2009 - PRLog -- Veteran hotel and tourism executive Reint Reinders joins Douglas Wilson Companies as managing director of the firm’s growing hospitality division.

With offices in San Diego, San Francisco, Atlanta and Orlando, Douglas Wilson Companies’ expanding hospitality client roster contains several high-end developments. Reinders will oversee and manage the company’s hospitality projects around the country, including the recent court-appointed receivership of the historic Wigwam Golf & Resort Spa in Phoenix.

Reinders’ distinguished career includes a 21-year stint with Marriott Hotels & Resorts and, most recently, a 15-year tenure as CEO of the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau. There, he implemented a $16 million annual budget and won numerous awards for promoting the attraction-rich region as a national and international tourism destination.

Prior to heading up ConVis, the Netherlands native and graduate of the International Hotel School at The Hague was general manager of several top-performing Southern California properties, including Marriott Hotels in La Jolla, Long Beach and Newport Beach.
