TRISHAUTOGRAPHS ANNOUCES NEW ITEMS FOR SALE
   Presidential Signatures for sale

Trish Hessey, owner of www.trishautographs.com has acquired three new presidential signatures of great historical significance, these include, Grover Cleveland, William McKinley, and John Tyler. The Grover Cleveland Signature is simply signed and dated “Dec 7. 1885”.  President William McKinley handwritten note signed reads: "[name] Canton Ohio A message from Ponce [?] Late yesterday says John is quite well William McKinley Aug 23/98".   The third acquisition reads President John Tyler signature and Secretary of State Abel P. Upshur and is signed by both.
25TH PRESIDENT, WILLIAM MCKINLEY 1897-1901
At the 1896 Republican Convention, in time of depression, the wealthy Cleveland businessman Marcus Alonzo Hanna ensured the nomination of his friend William McKinley as "the advance agent of prosperity." The Democrats, advocating the "free and unlimited coinage of both silver and gold"--which would have mildly inflated the currency--nominated William Jennings Bryan.
22. & 24TH PRESIDENT GROVER CLEVELAND 1885-1889, 1893-1897
The First Democrat elected after the Civil War, Grover Cleveland was the only President to leave the White House and return for a second term four years later.
10. JOHN TYLER 1841-1845
Dubbed "His Accidency" by his detractors, John Tyler was the first Vice President to be elevated to the office of President by the death of his predecessor.  Abel Upshur held two different positions during his service with the Tyler Administration, first he was Secretary of the Navy from 1841 to 1843, and then was Secretary of State from 1843 to 1844.
