What does Conan O’Brien’s Tonight Show & a Kid Rock Band from Boston have in common ?

May 26, 2009 - PRLog -- (Haverhill, MA) Conan O’Brien’s current commercial features “Eye of the Tiger” to promote his New Tonight Show debut scheduled for Monday, June 1st.  Little did the Tonight Show organizers know that these young, 7-11 year old kids decided on that very same song for their debut as the “Black Diamonds”.

“Eye of the Tiger”, written in 1982 to promote Sylvester Stallone’s, “Rocky III” became Survivor’s first top 10 single and a hit we all remember.

The Black Diamonds wowed the crowds at their first ever stage show this past May 3rd at the Haverhill, Massachusetts Kid’s Fest.   These young performers who began their Rock School Band program at DeAngelis Studio of Music & Arts in January, are being invited to perform at local events throughout the summer-  “Eye of the Tiger”  is hands down the biggest crowd pleaser.
