By: OMDTR A new online business directory goes live today on the World Wide Web. Apoundapage.com aims to extend the reach of all businesses with a new advertising idea which creates a slight twist on online advertising. Our online vision is to take directories, and search engines and turn it upside down; directories have always been big business and with enhanced listing costing a small fortune a year for in some cases no return. We decided that online directories need to be cost effective especially in today’s current climate hence the concept of a pound a page. Business can list their company’s services and products for £1 for life, and make amendments whenever they need too. The first version is life and accepting listing, but the plan is to extend the concept and we have a few tricks up our sleeves that will push value to an extreme, we understand some business are looking for catch, but there is not one – this is a genuine opportunity and when comparing to the cost of pay per click advertising and existing directories it will hopefully change the market. Project Developer, Oliver Reynalds is very excited about this new solution commenting: ‘Developing the concept was a simple idea, we are excited about our growing customer bases feedback and the request to adapt or add categories and technology, after all it’s there directory. I am committed to ensuring that apoundapage.com becomes the next big thing!’ Oliver Reynalds worked on a number of high profile projects including the development of new technologies. He previously headed the development of one of the first PC based SMS text messaging systems with mobile marketing group BWB and the third Party Web Marketing department at Gameplay Plc, working with companies such as Freeserve (now Wanadoo), robbiewilliams.com, Orange, Yahoo, Mviva and BSkyb.
