May 14, 2009 - PRLog -- It’‘s a well known fact that unless the media catch a celebrity off guard then generally they take fantastic photos creating envious looks from us feet on the ground mere mortal women. A lot of us girls will sit at home with a glossy magazine and flick through the pages in an almost dream like state. It’s as if our brains are kind of pre-programmed to believe that a celebrity looks so good simply because of their bank balance.

Isn’t it about time we woke up & smelled the coffee? Come on all you fashion girls out there, we beg you to get out of your constant jealous state of mind! Stop trying to aspire to be something that you already have the opportunity and skills to be. Believe in yourself and people will believe in you and you’re more than half way towards achieving celebrity self esteem. Okay, so let’s take a look at some of our favourite celebrity fashion stars like Cheryl Cole, Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, Lady GaGa, Rihanna etc etc. I know it’s difficult but try to look beyond some of the fake body parts, great skin, perfect hair and effortless make up as most of the photos have been air brushed and computer edited anyway. Really try to look at just their clothes and jewellery, and most of that is simply just costume jewellery with a designer label attached to it, and NOT the bling diamonds we would expect. What I’m trying to say is that we’re all guilty of looking at a celebrity and making pre-judgements. If you strip away celebrity faces from their photos then you could easily be fooled into thinking that the photo is of a well dressed woman with a good taste in style, just wearing a decent outfit. Nothing more, nothing less!

It's true that you too can have the confidence of a celeb star. All you need to do is get over the mental block of associating celebrity and fashion with expensive! The exact same looks that you yourself were giving to those damn photos in that glossy magazine!
