Winner Projected for DK is a Street Performer Google Rankings Challenge

May 12, 2009 - PRLog -- The DK is a Street Performer contest was introduced by Howie Schwartz, a top internet marketer.  On a recent webinar, Howie challenged members of a team of network marketers to rank on the first page of Google, as many times as possible, for the keyphrase "DK is a Street Performer."

Initially, two challengers took the lead with twitter posts.  Shortly after, Liane Carmi of Toms River NJ took massive action that almost completely erased the competition off of page one.  Coming in from behind, Rick Antle employed some high-level SEO tactics but was unable to take over the first page of Google, occupying at most 4 positions one time.  

Other contenders have been able to place at most one website on the first page of Google for the keyword phrase.

DK is a Street Performer now has over 137 pages on the web.  The contest is an amazing case study, and shows the extreme power online marketers have over the web and in controlling what people see.
