Wentworth Hills will host RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship Local Qualifier

May 11, 2009 - PRLog -- Wentworth Hills Golf Club in Plainville, MA will host a qualifying event for the 2009 RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship, the premier event in power golf, Sunday, May 17.
Area golfers are invited to see how they stack up as power hitters. Long driver competition takes place in three divisions: Open, Senior (45 and up), Super Senior (53 and up).
Qualifying lasts from Noon to 4pm.
Top finishers at Wentworth Hills will advance to the regional finals of the 2009 RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship. The ultimate goal is to earn a spot at the RE/MAX world finals, scheduled October 25-30, 2009, in scenic Mesquite, Nevada.
