Lauren Whaley Joins NC Credit Union League Staff

May 7, 2009 - PRLog -- GREENSBORO – The NC Credit Union League (NCCUL) is pleased to announce that Lauren Whaley has joined the organization as its first director of legislative and regulatory affairs.   In this role, Whaley will provide advice and assistance in managing state legislative affairs.  In addition, she will monitor regulatory issues that impact North Carolina credit unions and conduct training sessions for member credit unions on relevant regulatory matters. Whaley will work in the League’s Raleigh office.

Whaley joins the NCCUL from the Jennings public relations, branding and advertising agency in Chapel Hill, where she served as a public relations and advertising account leader for nearly two years. Previous to her experience at Jennings, Whaley served as communications coordinator at Truliant Federal Credit Union in Winston-Salem.

Whaley is a 2005 graduate of NC State University, where she graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business Management and minor in Psychology.
