IVT MediaPlatform 4.1 Sets New Standard for Enterprise Video Communications

IVT MediaPlatform 4.1 offers integration with Viewcast’s suite of streaming encoders. This allows for the ability to remotely start and stop Viewcast encoders from anywhere in the world.

IVT MediaPlatform 4.1 offers a live Closed Captioning solution, to foster compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. This is both a software and hardware solution that requires integration with a Viewcast Streaming Encoder.

Complete Web Services APIs are available with IVT MediaPlatform 4.1 as an added benefit for developers and organizations wishing to incorporate video webcasting solutions via application-to-application communication. IVT MediaPlatform users can now input and retrieve data without actually logging on. Virtually anything that a user can do can now be accomplished programmatically without human intervention. For example, customers can create custom user-interfaces that allow for the integration of IVT MediaPlatform into existing systems such as content management systems or learning management systems.

* IVT PrimeTime Integration - IVT MediaPlatform is now seamlessly integrated with IVT PrimeTime. Now, customers of both products can easily transfer details about their events between the two systems.

Availability and Pricing

IVT MediaPlatform is the first and only software package for video webcast creation and management that is available both in a SaaS model and a behind-the-firewall, enterprise model. SaaS pricing starts at $550 per month for a primary content publisher. Organizations that purchase IVT MediaPlatform in a SaaS model also benefit from receiving ongoing product enhancements.

Separate charges may apply for the use of Web Services API. Enterprise versions of the software are completely customized based on a customer’s needs and the anticipated scale of deployment.
