May 5, 2009 - PRLog -- West Bloomfield, MI – Stop hiring people with experience, when you can mold your ideal employee right in the office! Hiring Cooperative Education (Co-op) students allow the employer to teach and mentor young top performing students. Co-op students go to high school half the day and work half the day. These students will be graded on their performance and will be allowed to count work hours as school credits. Co-op students are very eager to learn and are willing to do what it takes to create the experience of a lifetime. High school allow students in the 11th and 12th grade to become co-op students.

At CoopStop.com, employers can post entry-level jobs so High School Cooperative Education departments can pin point the right student for your organization. Coopstop.com is the first website to connect employers with the missing link- YOUNG TALENT! High School students have a vast imagination, they are open to new ideas and innovation, hiring one could be of great interest.

Speaking as a former Cooperative Education Student, if I did not get the recruiting researcher job as a Co-op student, I am not sure I would be in the recruiting industry or creating the newest online co-op tool on the Internet. At fifteen years old, I started as a co-op student doing Internet research for a local executive recruiting firm. Within a year or so I began to pick up many responsibilities and tasks including: IT Support, Researching New industries, Name Gathering, and recruiting candidates. After getting sent to a training class at the corporate office, I became an Executive Recruiter by my senior year in high school. Within three weeks of being a recruiter, I made my first placement, and that year I had built up over $270,000 in office revenue- WORKING PART TIME!  The following year, I took over all training and new employee support while working a recruiting desk and going to college (full-time), that year I brought in over $280,000 in office revenue and was ranked in the top twenty recruiters out of 1100 offices of MRI Network. My Co-op job definitely paid off, both for my employer and I.

As www.coopstop.com becomes the new Monster or CareerBuilder, we will be offering promotions to post Co-op Jobs online. I believe that posting a co-op job online will bring you publicity among our nation’s youth, and will give your organization a competitive edge among your competition. What’s better than hiring a young, motivated, intelligent individual?
