The Church Pews were 30 years old in Concord Baptist Church when Master Church Seating was called in to try to help reupholster and refinish the pews and chancel furniture in time for Easter Services.  Master Seating, http://www.masterseating.com is Georgia’s premier church pews and church furniture company and happily took on the challenge to refinish and re-upholster the pews and refinish the pulpit furniture in time to meet the Easter Sunday deadline.

The pew re-upholstery consisted of replacing all the seat padding on the seats and backs of the pews and upholstering them with new fabric.  The custom fabric was actually produced at the fabric mill and rushed to the church while Master Seating on-site crews refinished the wood and prepared them for reupholstery. The pew refinishing, also completed on-site,  included application of a unique finish penetrating formula that restored the original color and luster to the finish while blending out the blemishes and minor scratches. It cleaned the surface and restored the finish without removing any of the existing finish. After the pew refinishing was completed, a special wax was applied to restore the luster and seal the wood.

The church furniture was also refinished using the same technique as the pew refinishing, bringing a fresh new look to the entire church sanctuary.  Master Seating also helped the church reposition the pews and anchor them to the the concrete floor to meet all safety codes.  The pews and church furniture now have matching wood colors and finish, and are ready for another 30 years of service to the church.

The entire job was finished in only 5 days and the results were fantastic, thanks to the hard work and outstanding technical expertise of Masters Seating’s planners and technicians.  They were able to coordinate production of custom fabric, refinish the pews and reupholster the pews three days before the deadline.  The results were great new pews for the church and another job well done by Master Seating.
