Core 2 Duo Fanless System
April 23, 2009
-- Logic Supply, a leading provider of Mini-ITX and small form factor system solutions, announces the arrival of the high-performance GS-L10 system. This is Logic Supply’s first fanless Mini-ITX computer capable of supporting Intel’s Core 2 Duo mobile processors.
The GS-L10 exhibits impressive thermal management by utilizing a complex array of heat pipes to conduct the heat away from the CPU and chipset to the extruded aluminum heat sinks that comprise the top and sides of the case. This system can cool CPUs with a thermal design power (TDP) of up to 35 watts including Intel’s “T9xxx” series of Core 2 Duo mobile processors.
Logic Supply’s Product Manager, Anthony Fiset, has seen a rise in demand for high-end fanless solutions. “Increasingly, our customers want a rugged, fanless system that can handle graphics-intensive processing. The GS-L10 system is a perfect solution—the GM45 chipset can handle Blu-ray decoding and, when paired with a Solid State Drive, its compact size (225 x 80 x 195 mm) means it can be installed almost anywhere without the worry of fan noise, dust contamination, or parts breaking down.”
The GS-L10 is now available from Logic Supply as a complete system with an MSI IM-GM45 (Montevina-based)
mainboard. Featuring Intel’s GMA 4500MHD Graphics, up to 4GB RAM, HDMI, DVI, two 10/100/1000 LAN ports, and a comprehensive array of onboard I/O, this system is ready for a wide range of industrial applications that require high-end processing power. System prices start around $900, with project pricing available upon request.
