UNLV students were very interested in what information BatteriesInAFlash was offering and asked a lot of great questions.

The second day was a collective group of local and rural elementary schools from the Clark County District. Over 300 students participated in the Earth Day event which focused on recycling through games, performances and demonstrations. The children were eager to learn that batteries can also be recycled. The event only lasted 3 hours but the impact that was left on the children was tremendous.

A small scale solar panel demonstration was set up to help educate the kids on possibilities of other forms of renewable and reusable energy.
