True Life Media Demo 2009

True Life Media, a video production company serving the Eastern US, has produced a short demo for prospective non-profit and educational clients to view. Those looking to promote their organization can do so by DVD or a video on their website.

April 21, 2009 - PRLog -- Since 2002, True Life Media has produced videos for a number of non-profits and businesses.  Now, they want to get the word out to all the non-profit organizations that haven't taken advantage of their abilities to do so as soon as possible.

"We're very excited to work with a slew of new organizations in 2009," said Christoph Gelfand, owner of True Life Media.  "We feel like there's so few companies that produce good, solid promotional work that really speaks to what non-profits are doing in their day to day operations.  What we're trying to do is change the culture of how non-profits promote themselves and make it more personable and accessible.  We think this is a model that can succeed."

Gelfand notes that a number of non-profit organizations don't have a video on their website or even a DVD to give to their prospective funders.  Additionally, summer camps, private schools, and businesses that want to publicize themselves aren't fully taking advantage of the video and internet mediums.

"This is a fast moving world," web designer M. Blument, notes.  "What people look for in a company or organization is a good website first and a friendly face second.  They want to see that you are legitimate and they want to know what you do...instantly.  Video is an easy and affordable way to show everyone what it is that you do, the people that you help, the employees that work for you, the work environment you provide- all these elements that are inherently visual, that's what video brings to life."

Blument notes that educational institutions have already seen a rapid response to videos about their students and teachers.  "Website traffic shoots off the charts when there's something to watch on a website," he adds.

With the release of their new demo reel Gelfand hopes that more organizations like the National Constitution Center and The New York City Department of Education will be convinced that a promotional video makes sense for them.

True Life Media creates work with the sensibility of a caring documentary filmmaker who understand what it takes to maintain a non-profit in today's climate.
