Solid Ray Woods to headline Earth Day @ The Ace

April 19, 2009 - PRLog -- Solid Ray Woods Raw Soul Review and Venus Studios are two of the popular, local artists scheduled to appear at Earth Day @ The Ace, April 22nd, sponsored by desert ECOLUTION Green Networking Group.  

Come check out some of the valley's green businesses that will be present as exhibitors.  Staff members from Assemblyman Manuel Perez's office will also be on hand as well as representatives from other valley based non-profits.  

The event is free and has been organized as a community celebration with education and fun in mind.  The Ace Hotel is the perfect venue to host this Earth Day celebration.  It's a new, forward thinking hotel with many eco-conscious touches that emphasize a refreshing commitment to sustainability.

Earth Day @ The Ace comes on the heels of the Energy Summit held on Friday, April 17th in Palm Springs and is part of a week long group of events occuring throughout the valley and Hi-Desert in honor of Earth Week.

* Music by Solid Ray Woods Raw Soul Review

7:45:
* Blessing of Mother Earth Ritual and didgeridoo with Kerry Henwood
* Welcome by Desert Ecolution and ACE Hotel

8 p.m.:
* Earth Movie

9 to 9:45 p.m.:
* Solid Ray Woods Raw Soul Review

The event will include a No Host Bar and Tamale Cart (6 to 10 p.m.) for purchase.
