Psycho Baby's Super Sweet 6th Birthday Bash May 1-3, 2009

Psycho Baby, the one-stop shop for cool, crazy kids' stuff, is celebrating its brick and mortar store's 6th year in Chicago's hot Bucktown shopping district May 1-3, 2009.  Welcome to all, Psycho Baby's Super Sweet Birthday Bash has treats for both young and old alike!  

Psycho Baby co-founder Marlo Hoffman states, "We call our party a 'birthday' rather than an 'anniversary' first and foremost because the kid-parlance makes it more fun for the little ones, and because, as parents, we see the growth of our 'Psycho Baby' in those terms."  She continues, "Six is a big-boy and big-girl age, where children are challenged on a new level at school, and are more into the game, both socially and physically.  Following suit, we, too are 'getting out there' more, from twitter and facebook to myspace and our blog, and are thrilled to meet friends and fans in a community environment online that matches the warmth and social fun of our storefront."

Psycho Baby's Super Sweet 6th Birthday Bash will take place May 1 - 3, 2009.  "We chose a candy theme because both our brick and mortar and online communities are so sweet," says co-founder Lisa Starbuck.  "With our theme, our Birthday Bash opens the door to a world of treats and fun for everyone!"  Kids activities include Yummy Crafts from 10-2 each day, a dessert booth with Spatulatta, the youngest James Beard award winners, at 2pm on Saturday, and a special tea party with the Storybook Mom on Sunday at 10am.  Other cool, crazy fun includes surprise discounts on each purchase, fun giveaways, a grand prize raffle, and a special surprise gift for the first 25 people in attendance each day.
