April 14, 2009 - PRLog -- A new website aims to be the first port of call for anyone involved in the game at grassroots level. FootballHelp.co.uk is a new web resource to help grassroots football team grow and develop. The site has two main areas aimed at clubs at different stages of existence, it helps clubs and officials who are just starting out and goes on to help established clubs to continue their development.

The people behind FootballHelp have a wealth of experience within grassroots football and are using this knowledge and experience to help clubs develop and, in turn, hopefully help the local community.

The site contains details of how to set up grassroots football clubs, ideas for club development, as well as information on how to raise much need funds.

It does not matter if you are just starting a new club or are already an established club, as www.footballhelp.co.uk has information and templates to help clubs regardless how developed the club is.

The site also contains details of over 60 tournaments throughout the UK that grassroots clubs are holding, with more events getting added on a daily basis. As well as tournament details the site also has the latest grassroots football and funding news. Clubs and leagues can also add themselves to the sites links page.

The site is free and relies on donations and from people purchasing goods or services from the advertisers.

Commenting on his website Nathan Batchelor said "The aim of the site is to help grassroots clubs start up and to develop. In my experience the information is out there but not all in one area. The site aims to pull all the information together and have it available in one place. The idea of the site came about as I am the secretary of a Charter Standard club in South Yorkshire and always get asked questions about grassroots football from other clubs. Whilst I am not the fountain of all knowledge, I decided to put together a website where all the information is in one place so that people don't have to hunt around wasting time and hopefully all clubs can share knowledge and experiences.

"I am delighted that so many clubs have made contact  saying how useful they find the site and informing me that they are passing the site details on to fellow members of the football community"
