April 13, 2009 - PRLog -- California, March 25, 2009 - This! Enterprises, Inc. launches FullMetalTshirt.com (FMT), an ongoing t-shirt design contest. FMT starts with a high quality t-shirt from Alstyle Apparel, add unique art chosen from artists around the world, and print with a state of the art Direct-To-Garment (DTG) printing process that allows them to achieve results that can’t be met with other forms of printing.

Full Metal T-Shirt offers high quality t-shirts with cutting edge printing techniques!

DTG printing is revolutionizing the custom apparel industry. With full spectrum color and full gradient fades, on any color shirt, the limitations of traditional of apparel decoration have been removed. Each one of FMT's shirts are printed to order, on-demand. They can easily print up to 16" x 20" images. With a specially modified shirt board, they can print up to 17" x 45".

FMT researched their choice of shirt brand extensively. They have chosen Alstyle for the following reasons: The shirts are made sweatshop-free. For Gents, the Alstyle AAA 1701 t-shirt is made of 100% ringspun cotton; super soft, preshrunk, full length. For Ladies, the Alstyle AAA 2517 t-shirt uses the same 100% ringspun cotton fabric as the 1701, with a more stylish sleeve cut and more form-fitting torso.

Artists from around the world participate in the contest, winners are chosen weekly and added to the ever growing number of unique and original designs on the site. Artists who win FMT's perpetual contest receive $100 cash, $100 credit, one free copy of their shirt, and a $5 residual per shirt or art print sold on FMT, for an entire year.

"We put a lot of thought into our contest winnings," says Aubrey Erickson, the head of FMT, "to make sure that artists have the capability to earn a generous (and continuous) income from their designs. It helps keep them involved with the community in the long term, too. In the end, the goal is for everyone to enjoy the benefits together."
