April 13, 2009 - PRLog -- Irish actress and songstress MAXINE LINEHAN returns to the cabaret circuit with her new show WHO AM I? A tribute to international recording artist Petula Clark. The fun-filled cabaret charts the course of Ms Clark’s career from her early recordings in the 1940’s through her mega stardom in the 1960’s to her award-winning performances on Broadway in the 1990’s.

Maxine received a 2007 MAC award nomination for her cabaret debut SO FAR… She played Emma to critical acclaim in the 2008 revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s TELL ME ON A SUNDAY and was most recently seen playing Laura in the original American cast of the award winning new Irish play THE MUSHROOM PICKERS. Maxine also has international credits which include NUNSENSE, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, OLIVER!, CRAZY FOR YOU, NUNSENSE II, A KIND OF LOVING, LOVERS, THE CHILDREN OF LIR  THE MAN OF LA MANCHA.

GERALD STOCKSTILL has music directed and written special material for numerous cabarets, including Amy Schmidt's Part Sun/Part Shade, America In Song for Musical Theater Heritage and Maxine Linehan's MAC nominated So Far…  As a composer he as written the music for Too Good to Be True, seen at the Theater League's Crossroads Musical Theater Festival, 5horts at the New York Musical Theater Festival and Naughty/Nice with lyricist Kenneth Jones.  Gerald is an alumnus of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop, and a member of the Dramatists Guild. Director KELLY MCGEE, an actress and director is a graduate of The University of Massachusetts with degrees in both Music Performance and Theater. Ms. McGee earned an Emmy Award for assistant directing the live television performance and broadcast of Sounds of Christmas and Midnight Mass, and was Emmy Nominated for the live broadcast of Glory of the Bells and Midnight Mass both telecast for NBC. Her theater credits in direction include the MAC nominated show So Far… starring Maxine Linehan, and numerous benefit and cabaret performances.

Who Am I? Runs every Thursday in May 7th – 28th @ 7:00pm. Tickets will be $20.00 for all performances plus a $15 food and beverage minimum at the Theatre.  Tickets may be purchased on www.theatermania.com or reserved at 212 695 6909
