Pet Safety Day Can Help Save a Life –Your Pet’s

Pet Safety Day, a CPR & First Aid Training Event can help you keep your pets safer and healthier. By Tim Chambo, Practice Manager, Loving Hands Animal Clinic, www.lovinghands.com

April 7, 2009 - PRLog -- According to the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) 1-out-of-4 more pets would survive, if just one pet first aid technique was applied prior to getting emergency veterinary care.

Pet owners consider their pets to be members of their family, their best friends and lifelong companions. Today, there are over 120 million pet owners in the United States. There is a tremendous need for training in Pet CPR and First Aid because unfortunately, thousands of pets are injured every year from preventable accidents! Pet owners would do just about anything to help their pet, if only they knew how…

The public will learn how to provide emergency care to pets at the upcoming Pet Safety Day hosted by Loving Hands Animal Clinic, 13775 Highway 9 N, Alpharetta, Georgia.  The free event will take place on Saturday, April 18 from 3 – 5pm.
