AAMP of America Selects New Asia-Pacific Regional Sales Manager

April 3, 2009 - PRLog -- AAMP of America™- the innovator in world-class consumer electronics design, development and distribution – is proud to announce that James Gardner has been retained as the company’s new Asia-Pacific Regional Sales Manager. Gardner, an American who has lived in Japan for almost 25 years and who possesses extensive 12-volt sales, retail and installation experience throughout the Pacific Rim, will be responsible for the sales, promotion and marketing of the AAMP of America Stinger®, Peripheral®, iSimple®, Select Products™, Best Kits™, and Sound Quest™ brands throughout the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

Gardner joins the AAMP team from Directed Electronics, where he was responsible for managing sales and distribution of the company’s products throughout the APAC region. Prior to that, he was the general manager of Mobile Audio Designs, a wildly successful 12-volt customization and installation chain in Tokyo. As a member of the AAMP of America team, Gardner’s primary goal will be to represent AAMP of America in an area spanning from China to Australia, and from India to American Samoa and Guam. His ultimate goal will be to grow the market share of AAMP of America brands in established markets like Japan, South Korea, Australia, the Philippines and Indonesia, while establishing those same brands in up-and-coming markets like India, China and Vietnam.

According to Mr. Gardner,” AAMP of America brands are in a position to become major players in many Asia-Pacific markets. Stinger, Sound Quest and Select Products are perfect for the high-end car audio and SPL competition markets in countries like Japan, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines. And with iPod and iPhone proliferation being as huge as it is in Australia and most of Asia, these countries are an ideal fit for iSimple and Peripheral.”

Right out of the gate, Gardner has established for himself the lofty goal of exponentially increasing overall AAMP of America sales in the APAC region in the next year. To accomplish this, Gardner intends on traveling to visit accounts as frequently as possible to ensure they have the products and tools necessary to find successful carrying AAMP of America merchandise. Additionally, he plans to approach markets outside what is traditionally thought of as being within the 12-volt audio and electronics industry as a means of growing awareness of AAMP of America brands.
