The Better Business Bureau Recognizes Energy Swing Windows With Award

April 2, 2009 - PRLog -- The Torch Awards are given by the Better Business Bureau each year in recognition of businesses that are committed to providing exceptional service to their customers and perform ethically in all aspects of their operations. Energy Swing Windows, a replacement window and door company in Murrysville, PA, recently received the award, winning for the Small Business Category (between 11-99 employees) in all of Western PA. The President of the BBB contacted the company himself, saying they “overwhelmingly” were chosen as the rightful winners.

The criteria for the awards were strictly laid out, and each business was to provide supporting documentation for all areas being considered. These areas included ethical management practices in regards to day-to-day operations, training policies, and overall focus on doing what’s best for the consumer. Community relations were also evaluated. Each company had to describe ethical decision-making that was demonstrated between them and a client, employee, and supplier. Marketing practices and the company’s return to the community were all evaluated in great detail for all of the nominees.

Energy Swing Windows became the “overwhelmingly favorite” of all recipients because of the consideration they have for each and every detail, from selling to manufacturing, to running their operations and doing what’s best for their customers and employees. The application, which ended up being 15 pages long, not including all of the supporting material, outlined in detail the pride this family-owned company has for its business. One recent example of the extraordinary respect present between Energy Swing and its customers was their Customer Appreciation Day, held just a few weeks ago. The annual event brought nearly 200 of the company’s customers to the facility to enjoy a lunch buffet catered by a local restaurant as well as good companionship with a company they have grown to think of as family.

The Better Business Bureau presented Energy Swing Windows with their award at the window facility in Murrysville on Monday, November 24th.
