Job Search Radio To Debut Amid Record Unemployment

April 1, 2009 - PRLog -- JOB SEARCH RADIO, a live-interactive podcast, will air on Small Plate Radio (www.smallplateradio.com) each Monday afternoon at 1pm eastern time. The show’s tagline is “Your Job Search Simplified”, and the program will feature interviews with career and job search experts who will help listeners navigate the myriad job boards, resume services and other job finding resources. The live, interactive webcasts allow listeners to participate in the discussion by submitting questions over the web, and archived shows can be downloaded for later listening on MP3 devices and computers.  

Small Plate Radio founder Doug Zanger says the unprecedented interest in the art and science of the job search has prompted the launch of Job Search Radio. “Nearly 5 million Americans are currently collecting unemployment benefits, that’s an all time high.”  In addition, the Federal Reserve predicts the nation’s unemployment rate may hit as high as 9% this year.

Job Search Radio will be produced and hosted by Zanger and Kyle O’Brien, both based at the Small Plate Radio studios in Portland, OR, and Daniel Durazo, a Richmond, VA-based marketing consultant and writer.
