By: MayDOG MayDOG, the Maynard Dog Owners Group, is pleased to present an off-leash dog behavior workshop for anyone who takes their dogs off-leash (or wants to) – whether at a dog park, conservation area, or in their own backyard. This workshop will help dog owners keep their dog safe when playing with other dogs, identify dog play styles, recognize early warning signs, and minimize potential dangers and fights between dogs. Other topics will include teaching a solid “come” and “leave it”, manners when greeting other people and dogs, and leadership in a training relationship. The workshop will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2009, from 1:30-3:00pm, at the DOGS! Learning Center, 577 Main Street, Hudson. Pre-registration is required.
