March 30, 2009 - PRLog -- Acids are ionic compounds with a positive or negative charge. Generally the taste of acids is sour and it can be in any form gases, liquids and solids. Acids strongly react with metals and other good conductor of electricity. Some corrosive types of acids are strong in acidic power, which are dangerous or unsafe, it may cause burn in just physical touch.

Acids are normally used in industries, household cleaning product, daily products, and soft drinks. We can get acidic or sour taste from most of food items such as lemons, sodas, vinegar, starburst, cream, yogurt, cottage cheese, etc. Acids are also widely used in car battery sulfuric acid, wet cell battery electrolyte, Phosphoric acid normally used in cola soft drinks.
